Named 'Archetypes', the Duchess of Sussex's podcast is now taking over the No. 1 spot on Spotify's podcast chart in not only the United States, but also Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle's new podcast is already a hit. Named "Archetypes", the Duchess of Sussex's podcast is now taking over the No. 1 spot on Spotify's podcast chart in not only the United States, but also Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom.

In the U.S. chart, "Archetypes" edged out Joe Rogan's popular podcast "The Joe Rogan Experience" which has been the top podcast on Spotify ever since it became an exclusive to the streaming service in May 2020. Until now, "The Joe Rogan Experience" has only been knocked out of the top spot a couple of times.

Before Meghan's podcast, which was launched earlier this month, dethroned "The Joe Rogan Experience", gaming podcast "Banter with Sapnap and Karl Jacobs" led the chart back in September 2021. Later in May, an episode of the fiction series "Batman Unburied" reigned the chart.

Meghan kicked off "Archytpes" by having best friend Serena Williams as her first guest. In the episode, which was titled "The Misconception of Ambition with Serena Williams", the wife of Prince Harry shared that she never felt a "negative connotation" to her ambition until she dated the British royal. "This feminist ideology trickled down into nearly every aspect of my education. It's probably safe to say into every aspect of my life," Meghan, who shares Archie (3) and Lilibet (14 months) with Harry, explained.

"This message to me and my classmates was clear: our futures as young women were limitless. Ambition? That was the whole point! So I don't remember ever personally feeling the negative connotation behind the word 'ambitious' until I started dating my now-husband," the former "Suits" actress added.

She continued, "Apparently ambition is a terrible, terrible thing, for a woman that is - according to some. So, since I've felt the negativity behind it, it's really hard to un-feel it. I can't unsee it, either, in the millions of girls and women who make themselves smaller - so much smaller - on a regular basis."
