AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner had casual shopping time while she skipped Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's second wedding. The "13 Going on 30" actress has been spotted at Sam's Club with her boyfriend John Miller during her ex-husband's wedding.
On Saturday night, August 20, the 50-year-old actress was photographed shopping at Sam's Club in South Charleston, West Virginia, along with two men who appeared to be her dad, John Garner, and her beau. In photos obtained by TMZ, she looked relaxed and even stopped to take a photo with her fan at one point.
Jen, who wore minimal makeup, donned a dark blue T-shirt and blue-and-white striped pants, which she paired with sneakers. "The Adam Project" star also carried a dark red purse. As for her dad, he sported a light blue button-down top, dark pants and sneakers. John, meanwhile, rocked a dark gray long-sleeved top, dark blue jeans and black boots. They all looked content while chatting and walking by cameras.
Previously, it's reported that Jen was invited to the nuptials but she wouldn't be attending because she would be busy with a project. "Jennifer Garner is hard at work on a project in Texas and won't be attending the wedding celebration, but she's been totally supportive of her kids being there and is really positive in general about the whole thing," a source told HollywoodLife.com, referencing Jen and Ben's kids, Violet, 16, and Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 11.
"There is nothing more important to her than her kids' happiness," the informant explained. "So, the fact that they feel welcomed and at ease and have bonded with J.Lo and her kids is just the best thing she could ask for."
A separate source said that Jen has already "congratulated" the couple on their wedding plans as she won't attend because of work. "Ben will always consider Jennifer family so of course he extended an invitation," the so-called insider added.
It's also said that "Jennifer and [J.Lo] have become closer so J.Lo was fully supportive of inviting the mother of his kids." Jen reportedly "knows [her kids] adore J.Lo and she's fully on board with them getting close with their new stepmom." The informant noted, "Jennifer has wished them all the best and knows it will be a beautiful event."
Ben and J.Lo, who first exchanged vows in Las Vegas last month, said "I do" for a second time on Saturday night on the "Deep Water" star's Savannah estate. The "Let's Get Loud" singer stunned in a white gown with a long train and veil, while the 50-year-old actor/director, for his part, was equally as dressed to the nines in a white jacket and black pants.
