When detailing the nuptials in her newsletter, the 'Marry Me' actress reveals that she and her now-husband 'barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight.'

AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. One year after rekindling their romance, the "Marry Me" actress and the "Gone Girl" actor finally tied the knot in Las Vegas.
The 52-year-old singer broke the exciting news in her On the JLo newsletter. "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient," she gushed while sharing photos from their wedding.
Calling the ceremony "exactly what we wanted," J.Lo continued to detail their nuptials. The musician further shared, "Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world."
"Behind us two men held hands and held each other. In front of us, a young couple who made the three hour drive from Victorville on their daughter's second birthday," the pop star adde. "All of us wanting the same thing- for the world to recognize us as partners and to declare our love to the world through the ancient and nearly universal symbol of marriage."
J.Lo claimed she and Ben "barely made it to the little white wedding chapel by midnight." She went on to explain, "They graciously stayed open late a few minutes, let us take pictures in a pink Cadillac convertible, evidently once used by the king himself (but if we wanted Elvis himself to show, that cost extra and he was in bed)."
For the wedding, J.Lo wore an off-the-shoulder lace dress "from an old movie." Her now-husband, meanwhile, sported a jacket from his closet." The pair were seen smiling ear-to-ear in the pictures.
J.Lo and Ben were originally engaged from 2002 until their 2004 split. The "Hustlers" actress and the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" got back together after she called off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez. J.Lo was previously married to Marc Anthony, with whom she shares two kids together. Ben, meanwhile, is a father to three kids shared with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
