The OnlyFans model-turned-inmate is facing one count of second-degree murder after being arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend Christian 'Toby' Obumseli to death.

AceShowbiz - Courtney Clenney a.k.a. Courtney Tailor isn't able to limit what could be released to the public. The OnlyFans star's request to keep evidence in her boyfriend Christian "Toby" Obumseli murder case private has been opposed by prosecutors.

During the Friday, August 19 Zoom hearing, Florida prosecutors said they're objected to keeping evidence secret in the murder case of the 26-year-old social media influencer and accused boyfriend killer, per New York Post. Previously, her defense lawyer asked a judge to keep the evidence hidden from public.

"It's been the defense that has been frankly keeping this case within media attention," said the assistant state attorney of Courtney's lawyer Frank Prieto. "Mr. Obumseli was dead for five days and the defense was making statements to the media both in print and on television and local news."

In the motion filed Thursday, August 18, Frank blasted Miami State Attorney Kathie Fernandez Rundle for sharing surveillance video at a press conference of Courtney beating her boyfriend Christian in an elevator more than a month before his alleged murder. Courtney's defense lawyer called the release of the damning footage "an attempt by the government to prejudice and taint potential jury members against the defendant" and deprive her of a right to a fair trial.

The social media star-turned-inmate wasn't present at the brief Zoom hearing. She is still locked up at Hawaii Community Correctional Center on the Big Island, where she was arrested on August 10 on one count of second-degree murder.

Of the tragic incident, police said they received a frantic call from Courtney at about 5 P.M. on April 3. She reportedly told authorities she and Christian were fighting when he suddenly grabbed her by the throat, prompting her to stab him with a kitchen knife 3.5 inches in self-defense.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after and found the man with a single stab wound to his chest. With a broken subclavian artery, he was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Despite being covered in Christian's blood, Courtney was not arrested due to her mental health issues. When she was taken to the police department for questioning, she reportedly threatened to kill herself. Police said that the threat led to an evaluation, causing her to be "Baker Acted."

More recently, Christian's family attorney Larry Handfield said that the Obumselis want Courtney to be given a life sentence for murder. Larry added that they're "happy" with the second-degree murder as the conviction could result in a life sentence.
