The 'Stoner' rapper and his YSL artist are warned possibly by their legal counsel when they seemingly greet each other for the first time since their arrests in RICO case.

AceShowbiz - Young Thug and Gunna were not allowed to talk to each other during a hearing in their RICO case. The two rappers appeared to be finally seeing each other for the first time since their arrests, but their friendly gestures were not expected in the court room.
On Thursday, August 18, Thug and Gunna appeared in court virtually via satellite for another pre-trial hearing. During a break, the two YSL artists attempted to break the ice by having a light conversation, before they were stopped by their alleged legal counsel.
"You good?" Thugger can be heard asking Gunna in a video recording of the hearing. Gunna appeared to respond, "I'm good, my brother. You good?" The YSL Records founder asked again, "You done lost a little bit, aint em?" seemingly noting Gunna's weight loss.
A voice was then heard interceding, "Sergio, your audio is on, by the way," referring to Gunna's real name Sergio Giavanni Kitchens. Another voice advised, "Jefferey, I don't believe you are muted, either. You're not muted," which was addressed to Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams.
A short time later, Thugger and Gunna began talking again against their lawyers' advice. A woman in the court room then warned them that they're being recorded. "Hey, you guys. Everything you all are saying is being recorded," the woman informed them. "Don't laugh. Don't talk to each other. Pretend you are not here. Don't say anything."
During the hearing, Thug was denied release on bond for the third time. His lawyer Brian Steel informed the court that his client was willing to comply with a 24-hour home confinement and argued the prosecution was creating a false narrative by using 2014 lyrics as evidence, but a judge refused to grant his wish for temporary release.
Following the hearing, Steel told TMZ, "The Court is honorable and we respect its rulings. Justice will not be denied." He added, "We are totally focused on preparation for our upcoming trial and we remain steadfast in our efforts to defend Mr. Williams against these false allegations."
Thug and Gunna have been held behind bars since May. The former faces multiple charges of Conspiracy to Violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity. Following a search of his home on the day of his arrest, he was charged with seven additional felonies related to possession of illegal substances and illegal firearms. As for Gunna, he was booked on a charge of Conspiracy to violate a RICO Act.
