The 'Don't Worry Darling' actress, who often defended her romance with Zach against online haters, reveals that they have 'been trying to do this separation without the world knowing.'

AceShowbiz - Florence Pugh has called it quits with Zach Braff. The "Don't Worry Darling" actress confirmed her split from the "Scrubs" actor in her cover story for Harper's BAZAAR's September 2022 issue.
"We've been trying to do this separation without the world knowing, because it's been a relationship that everybody has an opinion on," the 26-year-old stated. "We just felt something like this would really do us the benefit of not having millions of people telling us how happy they are that we're not together. So we've done that... I automatically get a lumpy throat when I talk about it."
During the interview, Florence emphasized that she is not a fan of getting public attention especially when it comes to her personal life. "Whenever I feel like that line has been crossed in my life, whether it's paparazzi taking private moments or moments that aren't even real, or gossip channels that encourage members of the public to share private moments of famous people walking down the street, I think it's incredibly wrong," she stressed.
"I don't think that people, just because they have this job, that every aspect of their life should be watched and written about," the "Little Women" went on sharing. She added, "We haven't signed up for a reality TV show."
Florence and Zach began dating in 2019. Unfortunately, the now-exes had faced constant criticism due to their 21-year-gap. Florence herself often defended their relationship against the "weird" trolls.
In July last year, the "Black Widow" star told The Sunday Times, "It's so weird to me to go on to someone's page and s**t on it." She then argued, "That's so not my nature - to go and bully for the sake of bullying. It's such an odd thing that we've become OK with in the past ten years of social media."
"The thing is, people want Instagram to be a nicer place, they want to see nice things. They want to be inspired and they want to be happy," the British native went on. "I don't mind you not liking me, that's absolutely fine. In which case don't follow me."
Earlier this month, Florence sparked romance rumors with Will Poulter after their Ibiza getaway photos surfaced online. It did not take long for Florence to shut down the speculations, stating on Instagram Story, "Ooookay. Man. This is getting a little silly now. No, Will Poulter and I are not dating."
