A woman claims Jauhara Jeffries' attorney offered her between $100k-$200k to falsely claim that the 'Can't Help but Wait' singer sexually assaulted her as he tried to paint the star as 'the next R. Kelly.'

AceShowbiz - Trey Songz may see the light amid multiple sexual assault lawsuits against him. After a multimillion anonymous complaint was dropped earlier this year, another woman has accused an attorney of Trey's alleged victim of trying to bribe her to lie against the star.
Jauhara Jeffries is one of the women suing Trey for alleged sexual assault. According to TMZ which obtained a transcript from a recent court hearing in the case, a woman named Mariah Thielen admitted she met with Jauhara's attorney Ariel Mitchell in April 2021 at a bar in Miami.
Mariah said Ariel smelled like weed and was carrying a gun during the meeting. Ariel allegedly offered to pay Mariah between $100k-$200k if she'd lie and say she witnessed Trey sexually assault Jauhara and claim that Trey assaulted her too.
Mariah said the attorney attempted to paint Trey as "the next R. Kelly." The woman added the plan was to take the allegations to Trey's team in hopes of coming to a monetary settlement and her lies would help to make that amount larger.
Mariah eventually turned down the offers, claiming that she refused to lie for even $10 million. She allegedly reported the meeting to Trey's legal team shortly afterwards.
Ariel has denied the allegation, telling the outlet, "We're highly confident and certain the court will find the witness committed perjury. Parties are still awaiting the judges' further instructions on how to proceed given the witness’s inconsistent testimony during the hearing."
Jauhara filed a $10 million lawsuit against Trey, born Tremaine Aldon Neverson, in 2021. She claimed that the incident took place at E11Even Miami nightclub on January 1, 2018.
In February of this year, another woman accused Trey of anally raping her in March 2016. He denied the allegations, with his representative pointing out, "Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to falsely accuse Trey." The rep added, "Hours later, that same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client. It isn't hard to see what's happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault."
The woman, who was identified only as Jane Doe, later dropped the lawsuit in late June. In court documents filed on June 29, the woman wanted the "entire action" dismissed. She, however, didn't rule out refiling the suit in the future. It remains unknown what led her to make the decision.
