AceShowbiz - Ian Ziering is mourning the passing of Denise Dowse. In the wake of the actress' death, the actor took to his social media account to remember the late star, who starred alongside him on "Beverly Hills, 90210" as high school vice principal Mrs. Yvonne Teasley.
Ian penned a touching tribute on Instagram on Sunday, August 14. Remembering his special relationship with his co-star, he wrote alongside a photo of them on set, "Throughout all my years working on Beverly Hills 90210, my scenes with Denise will always be remembered with the utmost in respect for her talent, and fondness for the loving soul she was."
"Some of my heartiest off camera laughs were between she and I hammering out the discipline her Mrs. Teasley would dish out to my Steve Sanders," he added. The 58-year-old also sent out his condolences to the actress' "family and all others who she was dear to."
He concluded his message with a playful reference to a memorable storyline between their two characters, "God bless you Denise, pay forward that Legacy Key."
Catching wind of the post was Brian Austin Green. The David Silver depicter on the 90s drama commented underneath Ian's post with three red heart emojis.
Denise's sister Tracey Dowse confirmed Denise's death on the actress' Instagram page on Saturday. "It is with a very heavy heart that I inform everyone that my sister, Denise Dowse has gone forward to meet our family in eternal life," Tracey said. "Denise Yvonne Dowse was the most amazing sister, a consummate, illustrious actress, mentor and director. She was my very best friend and final family member."
She continued, "Denise loved all of you. I know that she is watching over us with all the love she has. I ask for privacy and your continued prayers."
Prior to this, Tracey revealed her sister was in a coma and doctors had no idea when she would regain consciousness. She shared last week, "I am requesting support and prayers be offered me and my sister, and my only immediate family @denisedowse . She is currently in the hospital in a coma brought on by a virulent form of meningitis. Her doctors do not know when she will come out of the coma as it was not medically induced."
