AceShowbiz - Ian Ziering has taken to his social media account to detail the vicious attack against him by a group of bikers in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve. In an Instagram post on Monday, January 1, the actor described how the accident took place.

"Yesterday, I experienced an alarming incident involving a group of individuals on mini bikes," the "Beverly Hills, 90210" alum wrote. "While stuck in traffic, my car was approached aggressively by one of these riders leading to an unsettling confrontation."

The 59-year-old star went on to say, "In an attempt to assess any damage I exited my car. This action, unfortunately, escalated into a physical altercation, which I navigated to protect myself."

Ian revealed that he and his daughter were thankfully both unharmed. "I am relieved to report that my daughter and I are both completely unscathed, but the incident has left me deeply concerned about the growing boldness of such groups who disrupt public safety and peace," the star noted.

"This situation highlights a larger issue of hooliganism on our streets and the need for effective law enforcement responses to such behavior. As a citizen and a parent, I find it unacceptable that groups can freely engage in this kind of behavior, causing fear and chaos, while the response from authorities seems insufficient," the "Swamp Thing" actor added.

Ian's lengthy post came after a viral video featured him being brutally attacked by a biker gang during a street brawl on Hollywood Blvd on New Year's Eve. The fight started after Ian confronted one of the bikers as they were riding mini bikes, weaving in and out of traffic.

As Ian and the biker got into a physical altercation, things escalated as other bikers came to help their friend attack the actor. Even though Ian tried to escape the group by running across the street, they managed to catch him and threw more punches. Ian eventually was able to get back in his car and drive off. An official report reportedly was taken with him listed as the victim.
