The 'I Feel It Coming' hitmaker leaves Internet users stunned as they hear the Canadian singer speak for the first time with his speaking voice in a viral 20-second video of him meeting a fan.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd has left his fans baffled after he revealed his real voice. The "I Feel It Coming" hitmaker, who is known for his iconic singing voice and catchy tunes, made Internet users stunned over how his speaking voice sounds.

In a 20-second video that went viral on TikTok, the 32-year-old Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, could be seen speaking softly while in a conversation with a fan named Joshua "Swagman" Felder, who's also the musician's backup dancer for his 2021 Super Bowl performance, at his recent Miami gig.

"I thought you were gonna come to the Tampa show," the "Starboy" singer said with a smile after hugging Joshua. "Are you from Miami originally?" he asked. Joshua then told his idol that he actually is from Tampa, but made it to the Miami concert.

The pair then reminisced about the Super Bowl, and The Weeknd enthusiastically said, "We'll do it again." Joshua later asked the star for a photo, to which he replied, "Yeah of course!"

Fans on Twitter went into meltdown over the clip, with many revealing that it was the first time they'd ever heard his spoken voice. "That's what he sounds like? I would've never thought!" admitted one person, while a second confessed, "I was today years old when i realized i've never heard abel speak."

"This is my first time hearing the weeknd speak. His voice is SO beautiful, I would literally faint if he talked to me with this much enthusiasm, ugh he's so amazing," gushed a third, while someone else joked, "Wait he can talk? I though [sic] everything he says he sang." A separate person confessed, "i had an eargasm."

Other users were quick to compare The Weeknd's speaking voice to that of talk show host Trevor Noah. One person opined on Twitter, "He looks like The Weeknd but sounds like the comedian Trevor Noah," with another tweeting, "It's like if Trevor Noah was from Canada."

The interaction also had fans impressed with how kind The Weeknd was. "The Weeknd's energy made it seem like he is the fan to the other guy," one person pointed out. A second impressed user called the singer "humble," while a third person said he seems like "such a sweet guy."

The Weeknd is currently on his "After Hours Til Dawn" tour in support of his most recent albums, "Dawn FM" and 2020's "After Hours". Following his Miami show, where the viral interaction occurred, The Weeknd gushed about how great of a time he had. "MIAMIā€¦ impossible to explain the feeling in that room last night. hands down the best party in the world," he said.
