The 32-year-old Australian female rapper previously took a break from the music industry following the release of her 2021 studio album, 'The End of an Era'.

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea knows perfectly how to deal with her haters. Instead of pulling herself from the music industry, the "Fancy" hitmaker decided to make her return after a brief retirement so her critics can "cry about it."

The 32-year-old, whose real name is Amethyst Amelia Kelly, shared the announcement on Twitter on Monday, August 8. "A year ago I was willing to walk away from music because I was tired of the negative energy it attracted," she first wrote.

"But what I've learned is that even when I'm minding my business, y'all gonna be negative AND nosey. So if I can't have peace, neither can you," the Australian native declared. "I'm coming back. Cry about it."

Iggy took a break from the music industry following the release of her 2021 album, "The End of an Era". Her hiatus, however, seemingly failed to make people stop criticizing the raptress.

In July, the "Black Widow" femcee hit back at her critics, insisting she won't allow them to influence her lifestyle or the decisions she makes. "The wildest thing about the internet is y'all don't give a f**k about anyones opinion…. but think I'm supposed to let yours dictate my life?!?!" She then stressed, "I don't give a f**k about yours either! (sic)."

Iggy, who shares 2-year-old son Onyx with her ex Playboi Carti, previously confessed to feeling "perplexed" by Twitter arguments, describing the platform as "crazy." She said, "The s**t ppl fight about on Twitter is crazy... Every time I log on I'm perplexed as f**k as to what is happening on my timeline lmaoooo byeeeeeeee (sic)."

While she has been famous for being a musician, Iggy previously confessed that her initial ambition in life was to actually become a model, rather than a rapper. "In the early 2000s, I was obsessed with reality model competitions," she recalled. "I would watch all those shows and had a fantasy that I would send my pictures into a modelling agency and they would say, 'You're going to be the next top model!' "
