Reminiscing their 'Grease' days, the Danny Zuko depicter writes, 'Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever,' on Instagram after his co-star passed away on Monday, August 8.

AceShowbiz - John Travolta is mourning the death of his "Grease" co-star Olivia Newton-John. Reacting to the sad news, the actor has taken to Instagram to pay a loving tribute to his former onscreen lover.

"My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better," the 68-year-old wrote along with a throwback picture of the late actress. "Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again."

Reminiscing their "Grease" days, he added, "Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever!" and signed the note with "Your Danny, your John!"

Tributes also continued to pour in from other celebrities, including Julianne Hough who called Olivia her "hero." The pro-dancer wrote, "Like so many, Olivia has always been my hero. Discovering her magnetic energy as an artist and actress came first but it was her heart that truly captured mine. Forever an icon and legend!"

Viola Davis echoed the sentiment, "Oh man!!! You were my childhood!! Your talent, poise, beauty!! Rest in glorious peace. God bless your family….and thank you for creating eternal memories." Barbra Streisand expressed her grief as saying, "Too young to leave this world. May she RIP. #OliviaNewtonJohn."

James Gunn added, "Really sad to hear about the passing of Olivia Newton-John. My first real crush as a kid. I loved Grease & her music & I coincidentally also bought & lived in for a while the wonderful home she built in Malibu. May she Rest In Peace."

Meanwhile, Olivia's daughter Chloe Lattanzi paid a silence, moving tribute to her mother on Instagram. She posted throwback photos with her actress mom without any caption.

Three days before Olivia's passing, Chloe also posted a picture of her with her smiling mom. She hailed Olivia in the caption which read, "I worship this woman. My mother. My best friend."

Olivia's passing was confirmed on Monday, August 8 in a statement released via Facebook. According to her husband John Easterling, the actress/singer died with loved ones by her side at her ranch home in Southern California earlier that day. Her cause of death has yet to be revealed, but a source told TMZ that Olivia lost her battle to metastatic breast cancer after a "30-year cancer journey."
