During his appearance on 'The Breakfast Club', the 'See You Again' rapper issues an apology after he received backlash for snapping at two 'horrible' DJs during a performance at Poppy Nightclub in Los Angeles last month.

AceShowbiz - Wiz Khalifa has spoken out after he made headlines for going off on two DJs, whom he called "horrible," during a performance at Poppy Nightclub in Los Angeles last month. The "See You Again" spitter received backlash for his behavior, and he finally explained himself in an interview with "The Breakfast Club" on Thursday, August 5.
"First of all, I wanna apologize to all the DJs and the entire DJ community for my behavior," the rapper began, referring to DJ Mike Danger and MC Tron. "I do realize that it was a bit much and I'm a big enough man to be like, 'Yo that shouldn't have happened, that shouldn't go down. That's not how business gets handled and that's not how you get your point across.' "
He later explained what actually happened that night and what drove him to the onstage rant. "You know, I'll just walk you through the whole situation. I was booked to be at Poppy for my album release that night. It was the night that my album came out," Wiz, who released "Multiverse" on Friday, July 29, elaborated. "So it was like officially, you know, my night."
Wiz then added, "When it came time to be my set, like actual my five songs, the songs that we gave to him on the flash drive, it was just a real issue with timing like firing the songs, the ques were wrong and the way that I usually perform, especially if I'm rocking with a DJ that I've never performed with before, I just like to go back and forth with him. I might tap you like, 'Yo do a lil' mute right here,' or 'Cut the verse right here.' You know? And in attempt to do that it was kind of getting thrown off."
Much to Wiz's dismay, "everything was just, it wasn't going right" that night. He recalled, "The music wasn't going right, there was people talking over it and like I calmly was like, 'You know let's get it together guys I understand but we need to get on the same page.' And as the set continued, it just got even more unprofessional." He continued, "Songs were playing in the middle of my songs. I would ask to - I know the order of the songs, so I would want to go to the next one and then, a song that I didn't even have in the order comes on."
The "Young, Wild and Free" rapper admitted that the whole situation was "just really frustrating," adding, "I got emotional and I showed my emotions and that's mainly what you see in the video. I was definitely out of line for touching the young man's hat and doing what some people would consider 'assaulting a DJ.' "
"That was not in my character and that's not how I handle things. It's not excusable, it's not defendable in any way shape or form. The situation was between me and the guys there and I just got upset, that's all that was on my end," Wiz continued.
In a clip from the heated moment that went viral on social media, Wiz could be seen snapping at the two DJs, "B***h a** n***a, if you wanna fight, n***a we can do it. Y'all n***as suck, don't hug me b***h. Y'all n***as suck, play my new s**t n***a, play it n***a, play 'Bad A** B***hes.' Y'all are horrible DJs." He continued, "I came here tonight to promote for y'all and have a good a** time and have a great time, but you know what I'm not gonna do? I'm not gonna sit here and let these h** a** n***as act like this s**t is acceptable."
At the end of the video, the emcee could be seen pushing someone away from him onstage, saying, "Get out the way, I don't like you dawg." He additionally took two individuals' hats and threw them into the crowd.
