AceShowbiz - Madison Prewett has gotten engaged to her boyfriend Grant Troutt. When sharing the exciting news on social media, the runner-up of season 24 of "The Bachelor" took the opportunity to show off her new ring.
Making use of Instagram on Monday, August 1, the TV personality shared a photo of her locking lips with her new fiance as she flaunted her new sparkler. She also unleashed some other pictures from the romantic beach proposal, which took place in Florida. "7.31.22. You were worth the wait," she captioned the post.
Speaking of the proposal, Madison said in an interview with PEOPLE, "Grant was waiting for me and led me out to the beach, where he had candles and flowers and a Bible with my new name on it." She continued, "And the ring of my dreams!"
Noting that she "had no idea the proposal was coming," Madison said, "He actually was supposed to come with me and my friends to Florida but he got sick and wasn't able to make it." She added, "I thought we were celebrating one of our friend's birthdays."
"I was told we were taking birthday pictures on the beach and when I came down, my best friend led me into the bathroom where my mom and sisters were with the dress I wanted to get engaged in," the 26-year-old beauty went on recalling. "In that moment, I knew."
Feeling beyond happy by the proposal, Madison gushed, "I have waited for this day my whole life." She further raved, "I am so excited that it's finally here. He is everything I have prayed for, waited for, and dreamed of my whole life. He was definitely worth the wait."
Madison came to national prominence after becoming one of the contestants in Peter Weber's "The Bachelor" season, which aired in 2020. Though she ended up being the runner-up, the social media influence briefly reconciled with Peter after he ended his engagement to Hannah Ann Sluss.
