AceShowbiz - Masika Kalysha has weighed in on rapper Mystikal's arrest. The former star of "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" insisted that the New Orleans hip-hop artist "doesn't deserve freedom" after he's held without bond on rape charges.

Making use of her Twitter account on Monday, August 1, the 37-year-old actress/TV personality wrote, "Mystical being arrested 4 rape for a 3rd TIME only means that he was only held accountable 3 times Smfh." She further shared her opinion, "Ain't no telling how many women this sicko actually sexually assaulted. Lock his disgusting a** up & throw away the damn key. He has proven that he doesn't deserve freedom."

Mystikal was taken into police custody on Sunday afternoon, July 31. According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office (APSO) spokesperson, police responded to a local hospital where they met with the alleged victim over claims of sexual assault. The alleged victim was interviewed before police observed the minor injuries sustained from the alleged assault. Police ultimately ID'd Mystikal as a primary suspect in the case.

The 51-year-old rapper, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was booked on several felony charges including first-degree rape, simple robbery, domestic abuse battery, strangulation, false imprisonment and simple criminal damage to property. It's reported that the judge denied his bond.

Mystikal previously faced sex crime allegations. In 2003, the "Grab Da Wall" spitter plead guilty to a sexual battery charge and served six years in prison. He was then released in 2010. In 2016, he was charged with another rape and kidnapping, though the case was dismissed in 2020.

At the time, Louisiana's Caddo Parish District Attorney refused to indict him and dismissed the charges. His alibi was that the woman was there with her boyfriend and later claimed she was raped instead of admitting to being unfaithful.

There haven't been any statements from Mystikal's legal team surrounding his recent arrest.
