AceShowbiz - Harry Styles and Lizzo are the perfect example of friendly rivals. Lizzo revealed in a TikTok video on Tuesday, July 26 that the "Harry's House" artist sent her some flowers after her mega hit "About Damn Time" ended the reign of his tune "As It Was" on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.
In the clip, the "Truth Hurts" hitmaker showed off a beautiful flower arrangement. "Thanks for the flowers, Harry," she said to the camera before sniffing one of the roses and smiling coyly. Meanwhile, she wrote in the caption, "Yall harry got me flowers congratulating me on about damn time going #1."
Fans were loving the interaction between the stars with one of them commenting, "WE NEED A HARRY AND LIZZO SONG." Another fan gushed, "Stoppppp literally he's the sweetest being ever." Someone else said, "This friendship fuels my soul," while another comment read, "this is so cute im crying."
"About damn time", which is off Lizzo's latest album "Special", is the singer/rapper's second No. 1 single. She topped the chart for the first time when her tune "Truth Hurts" nabbed the No. 1 spot and dominated for seven weeks in September 2019.
Lizzo and Harry indeed have one of the best friendships among celebrities. Earlier this month, Lizzo gushed over the "Sign of the Times" singer, calling him a "great person" who "really cares about how you feel." During her appearance on the "Spout" podcast, she revealed that Harry put her at ease as soon as they met, despite her social anxiety.
"He did 'Juice' in his Live Lounge and I was like, oh my gosh, there's a mutual respect here. There was a show that we were going to do together and it was like, okay, we got to go to Miami to do this show. Let's split a jet," Lizzo recalled.
"For our first time meeting...we were talking for a long time. He's a great person, a great listener, a really good listener and really cares about how you feel, and very funny," she continued. "That's an interesting way to meet somebody for the first time for people with social anxiety. Not the ideal way. But Harry can make even the most socially anxious person feel very comfortable."
