AceShowbiz - Kristin Chenoweth and Josh Bryant may not tie the knot anytime soon. The "Holidate" actress and his fiance reportedly put off their wedding eight months after announcing their engagement.

Revealing the news was PEOPLE. However, the outlet did not offer details regarding the reason why the Broadway favorite and her man are holding off on their wedding plans.

Kristin confirmed her engagement to Josh back in October 2021. In an interview with Vogue, she said Josh had proposed to her on the rooftop of the Rainbow Room in New York City. She added, "I've been the runaway bride. Now that I've found him, I won't let him go. I will race to greet him at the altar."

Josh, who presented his wife-to-be with a three-stone Halo ring, said, "My best friend and soulmate said 'YES' to me!" He went on to gush, "Kristin is my world, my everything, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with her!"

Kristin and Josh met at family weddings in 2016 and 2018 when he was performing as part of the receptions' band. The former "Glee" star and her now-fiance began became an item in August 2018.

Kristin previously admitted that being cooped up 24/7 with her partner amid the COVID-19 pandemic led to fears of breakup. "I think I maybe had a crying moment," she told Us Weekly in 2020. "And I said, 'Are you ever going to? Are you going to break up with me?' Because, you know, we were together 24/7."

Luckily, the pandemic bought them even closer. "That is really a testament to our relationship," the singer said. "He just held my hand. I think I held his at different times, and we were there for each other. That's really what it's about."

When they were unable to go out during lockdown, the pair enjoyed quiet nights for two. "He's a cook. I'm not. Let me repeat, I am not," Kristin revealed. "I know he loves to cook. We would do our grocery store runs in the middle of the night, so as to be safe, and he would get all the ingredients and he makes a great chicken pasta parmesan."
