When singing praise to the showrunners for using their music, the heavy metal band also gives a special shout-out to actor Joseph Quinn, who portrays the 'Hellfire Club' leader on the show.

AceShowbiz - Metallica loves Eddie Munson's guitar solo on "Stranger Things". Upon seeing Eddie's epic rendition of "Master of Puppets" in the show's season 4 volume 2, the heavy metal band showed their appreciation on social media, saying, they were "totally blown away."

Making use of Instagram on Tuesday, July 5, Metallica shared a clip from the season finale. The footage featured a scene where Eddie and Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo) distract the demobats and evil Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) in the Upside Down by using music.

"The way The Duffer Brothers have incorporated music into Stranger Things has always been next level," the band wrote in the caption. "So we were beyond psyched for them to not only include 'Master of Puppets' in the show, but to have such a pivotal scene built around it."

"We were all stoked to see the final result and when we did we were totally blown away," the group further raved, before giving a special shout-out to actor Joseph Quinn, who portrays the "Hellfire Club" leader. "It's so extremely well done, so much so, that some folks were able to guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn's hands in the trailer!! How crazy cool is that?"

"It's an incredible honor to be such a big part of Eddie's journey and to once again be keeping company with all of the other amazing artists featured in the show," the band concluded their message.

Metallica dropped "Master of Puppets" in 1986. The track, which is featured on the band's album of the same name, has impressively topped the global charts once again after it was used on the Netflix series.
