The Grammy Award-winning artist, who has been incarcerated since May 9, admits that he has suicidal thoughts because staying in prison is like living in hell.

AceShowbiz - Young Thug is clearly having a hard time behind bars. The "Potion" rapper, who has been arrested on RICO charges, gets candid about contemplating suicide in a new-released jail freestyle.

"I'm just sitting here in my cell like damn, I'm really in jail," the 30-year-old raps during his phone call with his nephew BSlime on Thursday, June 16. "God give me another chance to show you I can prevail. I could put my arms from wall to wall inside this tiny a** cell."

"I know that I'm a man, but f**k, I can't stop the crying," the emcee, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, laments. "If this is hell, then I don't wanna know what hell is like/ I'd rather hit Rodeo with my daughters on Chanel bikes/ Stop to get ice cream, remembering the kind they like."

Thug also confesses that he has had suicidal thoughts. "I tried to cry but ain't nothing left/ This jail s**t f**k with your mind," he spits. "I contemplated doing myself, n***a/ The most suicide deaths are in this jail/ But let's not forget that this ain't hell."

Thug was arrested on May 9 at a Buckhead mansion after the home where he was at was raided. The Grammy Award-winning artist was booked into Fulton County Jail on multiple charges in a RICO case.

His frequent collaborator Gunna, who is among one of the 28 men charged in the 56-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) indictment, turned himself in two days later. The two stars will remain in jail as they were denied bond.

Earlier this month, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis claimed that she has received death threats over the case involving the YSL members. She believed that those death threats were likely sent by fans of those indicted instead of coming from the gang members.

"We don't believe that these threats were directed by anyone that is in the YSL indictment," she said. "I would say that [threats are coming from] people that are very sympathetic, maybe admirers of YSL and people who are connected with them in some sense."
