Despite being in her hospital bed, the 'Need to Know' raptress manages to entertain fans by rapping to Nicki Minaj's verse in Trey Songz's track, 'Bottoms Up'.

AceShowbiz - Doja Cat still managed to amuse Internet users from her hospital bed. The "You Right" singer, who is apparently recovering from tonsillectomy, cracked fans up with a hilarious video of her trying to rap following the surgery.

In the clip shared on Twitter on Thursday, June 16, the 26-year-old was seen rapping to Nicki Minaj's verse in Trey Songz's "Bottoms Up". The Los Angeles native, however, coughed up a little bit in the end of the footage.

The video was later re-shared by The Shade Room on Instagram, where fans left a number of gushing comments underneath the post. "Lmaooo, she don't take anything serious. Love her personality," one person replied. Another raved, "She is the same person high on pain meds as she is sober. She is so funny. Love her personality." A third chimed in, "I love her so much! She’s funny even during recovery."

Others, meanwhile, sent well-wishes to Doja. "Dang! Praying for a good recovery! It hard being forced to take a break from something you love, especially when it's for longer than you'd like!" one user wrote. "Praying for a speedy recovery Doja," someone else added, while a third suggested, "Rest your voice."

Having to undergo tonsil surgery forced Doja to withdraw from The Weeknd's tour and a number of upcoming festival appearances. In a note shared on Instagram Story, she announced, "Hi guys. I wanted you to hear it from me first. Unfortunately I have to have surgery on my tonsils asap. The surgery is routine but the recovery is going to take a while due to swelling."

"That means I have to cancel my festival run this summer as well as The Weeknd tour," Doja added. "I feel horrible about this but can't wait for this to heal and get back to making music and create an experience for y'all."

Doja was supposed to serve as The Weekend's "After Hours Til Dawn Tour" opener. The North American leg of the tour is set to take place between early July and September. It remains unknown who will replace the "Planet Her" artist for the gig.
