AceShowbiz - DJ Akademiks was forced to defend himself after getting backlash over his past comments about sleeping with minors. Taking to his Twitch stream, the YouTuber explained what he meant by his remarks.

"8 years ago, in 2014 I was doing a topic on my YouTube that says Tyga denies being in a relationship with Kylie Jenner." the 31-year-old said. "This is when everyone knew that Kylie and Tyga we're f**king around. Tyga was 24 Kylie was 17."

"This is the context and this is what's important, at no point did I ever say that I f**ked somebody under 17 or under 18," the Jamaican native further emphasized. He then explaiened how "in college, it becomes a grey area because people don't ask for ID."

In his original comment, DJ Akademiks suggested that he had no issue sleeping with underage girls as long as they were in college. "And to keep it real if you think about it in the bigger scheme of things, there's not much difference between a 20 or a 17 or a 21 and a 17," he said at that time.

"Just kinda means one's a minor and one's not a minor. But listen, I will say I adopted this rule which I think is fine, I said listen, 'as long as a chick got a college ID she's getting f**ked,' " he stressed. "I don't care if she 17, I don't care if she 17 and a half, I don't care if she just turned 17, she gon' get this d**k."

Since the audio went viral, many Twitter users put DJ Akademiks on blast. Among those who called out the blogger was rapper/singer Jay Critch, who has been beefing with the former. "It's a special place in hell for pedophiles smh @Akademiks," the musician tweeted.
