Many couldn't stand with the Bad Boy Records founder bragging a lot about his business endeavors, while others found it cringey that the rapper tried to be funny but failed.

AceShowbiz - Sean "P. Diddy" Combs may be a lot of things, but he is apparently not a good emcee. The hip-hop mogul has been mercilessly mocked by social media users who dubbed him "the worst host" ever following his 2022 Billboard Music Awards gig.

While hosting the Sunday, May 15 event, the rapper shamelessly self-promoted his new music, Ciroc vodka, son and other business endeavors, which made him come across as extremely arrogant. Some others found it cringey that he tried to be funny but failed.

"P Diddy is the worst host I've ever seen on tv he just couldn't shut up and he won't funny like just read the damn prompt and get off he was so cringe everytime," one person reacted to Diddy's hosting gig. Another claimed, "Diddy is the worst host I've ever seen in my life."

Another viewer tweeted, "Please get Diddy off the stage #BBMAs," while a fourth critic expressed on Twitter, "Okay I'm 5 minutes into this @BBMAs and P Diddy hasn't stop celebrating himself and how fabulous he is. That's not what I tuned in for."

"Diddy is drunk and tweaking. Hurry up and end this show, please! #BBMAs," another wrote on the blue-bird app, while another dubbed Diddy "so corny." Another user remarked, "Am I watching the Billboard Music Awards or Diddys Ted Talk? Shut up already."

"Is Diddy getting on y'all nerves as much as he getting on mines," someone else wondered as some people blamed those who hired the 52-year-old as host for the show. "They couldn't get a better host than Diddy? #BBMAs," one of them criticized the producers.

"who the hell picked Diddy as the host. Who did he threaten to get this role?" another fumed. One other added, "whoever signed off on diddy being host should be fired," while someone else predicted, "They not gon let Diddy host nothing else." Echoing the sentiment, someone begged, "pls do not let diddy host anything again cause im about to die from secondhand embarrassment."

His hosting skills aside, Diddy also faced backlash after Morgan Wallen received an award at the 2022 BBMAs following his N-word scandal. "Diddy gives an award for activism against racism while simultaneously giving platform to Morgan Wallen," one person remarked.

Prior to the award-giving ceremony, Diddy, who also served as executive producer for the show, declared that he was "un-canceling the canceled" by booking Wallen and Travis Scott (II) to perform at the event. "As a music family, none of us are saints; none of us are without things that happen to them in life, so one of the things I'm doing directly is un-canceling the canceled," he told Billboard earlier this month. "That's breaking news because people haven't been about un-canceling. But canceling is a trend that needs to stop."

He added, "My brother Travis Scott has to perform. Travis went through a tragedy; Morgan [hurled the n-word] while talking to his boy. People make mistakes. Now we're moving on with love and respect for everybody that was hurt or affected. It’s time to forgive."
