The former 'The View' co-host notes that she won't label 'The Wendy Williams Show' alum as 'bitter' after the latter says she 'won't be watching' 'Sherri'.

AceShowbiz - Sherri Shepherd has responded to Wendy Williams' shade over her new show, "Sherri". Taking to social media, the former "The View" co-host said that she is "truly concerned" for the embattled host.

During an Instagram Live session on Saturday, May 7, Sherri shared her reaction after Wendy said that she won't watch "Sherri". The 55-year-old TV personality said, "I did hear Wendy say she will not watch me on the new show. And that's okay. You know, I understand. I'm not mad at Wendy." She went on to note, "She's going through a lot."

"I would say that everyone should be praying for Wendy right now. I'm really truly concerned for her because I don't feel like there's anybody over there protecting her," Sherri continued. She further stressed, "But I'm not mad at Wendy because she won't watch my show."

Sherri later spilled that there was a time when she was "very friendly" with Wendy but "sometimes stuff doesn't pan out as far as friendships." The "K.C. Undercover" actress further pointed out that she won't label Wendy as "bitter." She then reasoned, "She's not well. There's just a lot going on in Wendy's life ... All I can do over here and pray."

Sherri's response came after Wendy said she won't watch Sherri's new show. During a recent interview with Fat Joe, she said, "I won't be watching her because I know what she'll be doing and that's not really my thing ... you know what I'm saying?"

Elsewhere during the chat, Wendy admitted that she missed being on her talk show. "I wish I was there. I wish I was there right now to talk about it. I'm glad I'm able to talk about it when I come back, you know?" she told the rapper.

"I love, I love being on my own show. And I love that people love to watch it, you know, all the time," Wendy elaborated. Even though her own talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show", was canceled, she seemed confident that she would be bringing her talents back. She even promised, "I'm coming to 'The Wendy Williams Show'. Absolutely. Absolutely."

In February, it was reported that "The Wendy Williams Show" had been canceled after Wendy had to take an extended hiatus from the series due to health issues. Later, it was announced that Sherri, who has served as a guest host on the program, would be taking over that time slot with a talk show of her own.
