During a recent Instagram Live session, the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker says that she feels like God 'cursed' her with fame as she 'can't joke' after her joke 'gets twisted.'

AceShowbiz - Cardi B is seemingly tired of living under the spotlight. During an Instagram Live session following her Met Gala afterparty, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker tearfully claimed that she is a "prisoner of f**king fame."

"I'm really a prisoner of f**king fame. Fame, fame, fame, fame. I don't even have a voice anymore," the "WAP" raptress said during the livestream on Tuesday, May 2. "I swear to God if it wasn't for this f**king Facebook show, I would delete all my social media right now because I'm so tired."

Cardi went on noting, "Don't wish to be famous, bro. Wish to be rich. Y'all don't want fame. Once you become famous, you can't be yourself." The 29-year-old femcee added, "You can't joke, you can't say nothing, you can't smack nobody, you can't this and that, you can't correct nobody. You can do nothing!"

Cardi then explained, "I make one joke as a hostess because I am hosting a party and it gets twisted. Why can't every celebrity joke around and say slick s**t?" She then admitted that she's "scared" to make any wrong moves.

"I feel like God cursed me with fame, deada**. Dead f**king a**," Cardi told the viewers. "God really cursed me with fame because fame is just like, oh God, ugh, I hate it here. If I could click my f**king feet three times and go back to f**king 2013 when I was just a regular b***h dancing and making money every single night, that's where I wanna be."

Cardi later hinted that she missed the good old days. "That's when I was me. Not even 2016. That's when I was me. This whole go-by-the-books stuff, gotta watch what you say, gotta watch what you do, this is not me, bro," said the wife of Offset. "This is ridiculous. I don't even understand how I always get in trouble, I feel like I'm always in trouble. I feel like I'm a celebrity that always be in the principal's office, bro."

Cardi's emotional live session came after she faced heavy criticism after she made a joke about drug use at her afterparty. At the time, she encouraged her guests to "take a shot right now, everybody takes a line." She said, "Make sure you got your drinks, make sure y'all do your little [lines]. Whatever the f**k you have to do. We got to turn the f**k up. I want everybody dancing!"
