The 'Halfway to Home' artist and the 'Saving Private Ryan' actor, who share two sons together, are seen smiling ear-to-ear in the photo taken at their wedding.

AceShowbiz - Rita Wilson has celebrated her 34th wedding anniversary with her husband Tom Hanks. To mark the special milestone, the "Halfway to Home" artist treated her social media followers to a throwback photo from their nuptials.

The 65-year-old shared the picture on her Instagram account on Saturday, April 30. In the snap, the couple could be seen smiling ear-to-ear as they walked hand-in-hand. "34th. 1988-2022," the singer/actress captioned the image.

The post has since been flooded with positive feedback from Rita's famous pals. One in particular was Julianne Moore who gushed, "Happy anniversary love u." Kate Hudson echoed the sentiment, "Happy Anniversary!!!! [two red-heart emojis]". Meanwhile, Tracee Ellis Ross exclaimed, "incredible! Happy happy."

Rita and Tom first met in 1981 after she appeared in a guest role as Cindy on "Bosom Buddies". The pair share two sons, 31-year-old Chet Hanks and 25-year-old Truman Hanks. The "Inferno" actor was previously married to Samantha Lewes from 1978-1987. The former couple shares 44-year-old son Colin Hanks and 39-year-old daughter, Elizabeth Hanks.

Last March, Rita marked the first anniversary of her and Tom contracting COVID-19. Sharing a selife of her and her spouse on Instagram, she reflected, "One year ago today I was playing the Sydney Opera House @sydneyoperahouse, the next day started feeling very tired and achy, two days later hospitalized with Covid 19."

"I want to take a moment to say how grateful we are for our health, how thankful we are for the medical care we got in Queensland, and that we share in the sorrow of each person who lost a loved one to this virus," she added. "I'm hopeful for so many being able to get the vaccine."

"I also do not take for granted that creating music stayed a part of my life through @zoom remote and safe recording and writing, even with women from Brazil @claudialeitte and @therajakumari for our new song Hello World. #hellowworldmovement Music has been very healing this year," the mother of two continued. "So thankful for that, too."
