While the weapons detectives found during search at the 'Peso' rhymer's house did not match the gun used in the shooting, a surveillance video catching the incident could be used as evidence against him.

AceShowbiz - A$AP Rocky can't get away just yet from a 2021 shooting involving him. After search at his home earlier this month did not result in significant evidence against him, there's reportedly a video that caught the incident.

Sources tell TMZ that LAPD has in their possession video of the shooting, presumably from a surveillance camera. If the video is clear enough, it could be used as evidence that incriminates the 33-year-old star.

Police previously executed a search warrant on Rocky's house after he was arrested at LAX following a trip from Barbados with his pregnant girlfriend, Rihanna, on April 20. At the time, detectives were pictured leaving the house with several boxes of items that could be used as evidence.

The cops also found guns in the home, but they apparently did not match with the gun used in the shooting. Sources say cops determined very quickly that none of the guns were connected to the crime. According to the site, cops found shell casings at the crime scene, so they knew the type of caliber, and none of the guns at Rocky's home were a match.

They also determined that the guns were "lawfully purchased and legally registered." They ran the serial number on the guns and they were all legally acquired. Police didn't take the guns to the station and left them at Rocky's house.

As reported before, Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, is accused of shooting at an alleged victim three to four times near Vista Del Mar and Selma Avenue on November 6, 2021 around 10:20 P.M. following an argument. The victim sustained a minor injury from the incident and later sought medical treatment.

The LAPD later detailed the arrest via Twitter. "Early this morning, LAPD officers arrested Mayers for assault with a deadly weapon (firearm) at the Los Angeles International Airport," read the tweet. "The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for filing consideration."

He was released shortly after posting a $550,000 bail.
