While some show sympathy for the 'Savage' femcee following the interview, some others criticize the fact that the raptress is the only one who is allowed to speak on the shooting case involving Tory Lanez.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion's emotional interview with Gayle King for "CBS Morning" unsurprisingly caught people's attention as she discussed the shooting incident involving Tory Lanez. While some showed sympathy for the "WAP" femcee, some others criticized the fact that Megan's the only one who is allowed to speak on the case.

"Crazy how Meg gets to speak on whomever platform or song about the situation but tory or he goes to jail being its still an open investigation," one Twitter user tweeted on Monday, April 25. Earlier this month, Tory was handcuffed and taken into police custody after he was found guilty of violating the protective order relating to his case with Megan.

The Houston native caught wind of the post and immediately clapped back at the user. "So a man can shoot me, chop up horse legs in music videos to taunt me, pay blogs to spread false information from what's happening in court, record studio albums and make diss tracks... but when I talk to gayle king that's the last straw... F**K YALL," she wrote.

Fans showed support upon learning of Megan's tweet to the critic. "Yeah she rightfully snapped," one person commented. "Imagine getting shot and people are telling you you're lying or to move on and let it go," another person wrote, while someone else declared, "Im on her side."

During the interview, Megan recalled the alleged shooting which took place back in July 2020. "It was an argument because I was ready to go and everybody else wasn't ready to go. But that's, like, normal friend stuff," she first detailed. "It shouldn't have got this crazy."

The Grammy winner continued, "So I get out of the car and it's like everything happens so fast. And all I hear is this man screaming. And he said, 'Dance, b***h.' And he started shooting. And I'm just like, 'Oh, my God.' Like, he shot a couple of times. And I was so scared."

She claimed that she didn't want to move, adding, "if I take the wrong step I don't know if he would shoot something that's super important or he could shoot me and kill me." The Hot Girl Summer went on saying that she "was really scared" at that time "because [she] have never been shot at before."
