The 'Buss It' raptress is slammed by social media users after she says that 'nobody' is going to say that the 'Anaconda' hitmaker is 'the best' rapper following her controversial remarks.

AceShowbiz - Erica Banks defends herself from heavy backlash only to be mocked. The "Buss It" raptress has been ridiculed online for saying Nicki Minaj isn't "the best" rapper after she revealed that the "Anaconda" hitmaker "ignored" her.

Making use of her Twitter account on Tuesday, April 19, the 23-year-old Texas-based rapper responded to criticism she faced following her comments about Nicki. "Nobody gone tell you that you're the best, you gotta take that s**t," she wrote.

"Idc how many gimmicky rappers or rappers wit sob stories try to attack my character, I'm still that girl that get y'all hot by literally speaking bc I'm her," Erica continued, adding a laughing with tears emoji. She then concluded her tweet, "Now shutup & rap."

Erica Banks responded to backlash she has been facing after her controversial Nicki Minaj comments.

Upon learning of her post, many of Nicki's fans slammed her. "Let's hear you rap without sampling other peoples songs," one person replied to her tweet. A separate person questioned, "Girl where is your MUSIC??"

Another Nicki's fan commented, "To be the best is not complaining and trying to put others down to get on top. Nobody owes you nothing in this world and acting entitled is what's gonna keep you where you're at." Someone else quipped, "You were only trending bc you mentioned nicki, don't get too happy." A different fan slammed Erica as saying, "Says the girl who only sold 9,999 units. girl u gotta humble yourself."

Erica landed in hot water after she divulged that Nicki "ignored" her and "hurt" her feelings during her interview with Revolt TV's "Big Facts". "Well you know, I love Nicki but I just feel like I've been tryna reach out to her for a long time and I just feel like she really ignored me," she shared, "And I feel like she entertains the girls who really don't even know how to rap you know what I'm saying? And my feelings hurt."

"Now some people might get mad at me for saying that but it's the truth, okay?" Erica continued. "Everybody can't rap so anyway, Nicki got upset that I agreed with the person and she said 'Bloop imma block you then. Since you wanna be ungrateful, imma block you.' "

After learning Erica's statement that Nicki only works with girls who don't know how to rap, Coi Leray, who recently released her collaboration with Nicki titled "Blick Blick", showed off her accomplishments. "My debut album has over 315k album sales [fire emojis]. 4 Billboard top 100 entries (No More Parties , No More parties Remix, Big Prrd, Blick Blick," she tweeted, "6 nominations with no album . Millions of monthly listeners."

Also weighing in on Erica's controversial remarks was Asian Doll (Asian Da Brat). "Erica played HERSELF nun of the rap girls think like this except the person that sat her a** in that seat on that stage &said what she said so therefore she standing on that ALONE," Asian wrote to a fan who tried to say that "all the girls" in rap felt the same way as Banks. "Don't drag us with this women with all RESPECT [one hundred emoji]."

Asian continued to share her two cents in a following tweet, "Ayo don't speak on me including me & my name & everything I've built randomly involving me in the next b***h situation tf." The "Nunnadet S**t" raptress further said, "She sounded dumb asf**k we nun alike keep that s**t over there fr I don't agree or respect s**t she said so the side by side pics ain't giving at all bye."
