The model daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger previously came under fire after she shared a photo of her wearing compression bandage as she relaxed on the couch post doctor's visit.

AceShowbiz - Ireland Baldwin has responded to backlash over her recent cosmetic procedure. Having landed in hot water after revealing that she got FaceTite, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger took to social media to explain the reason behind her decision.

"I never use filters on here. I've had no other modifications done to my body or face," the 26-year-old first shared in a TikTok video. "I've had no - despite what everyone thinks - lip filler in my life. I have no fillers in my face. Not that there is anything wrong with that."

Ireland went on to divulge that "the procedure I'd done was called FaceTite," an "hour-long, in-office procedure." She added, "You don't go under the knife. Nothing like that. The reason I had it done was because I had this very stubborn pocket of fat and extra skin under my face. And before you say, 'Why don't you just diet and workout and not be a lazy b***h,' it doesn't work like that."

"When I had an array of eating disorders in my life, and I was scary skinny, I still had this chin," the model continued. "As I've gained weight and as I've aged, it hasn't gone away at all. It's only become worse and worse. I am terrified of anesthesia and being put under plastic surgery, so [the procedure was] most age appropriate and minimally invasive option for someone who is 26 years old."

Ireland previously came under fire after she shared a photo of her wearing compression bandage as she relaxed on the couch post doctor's visit. In another snap, she could be seen posing alongside her cousin, Alaia Baldwin, who also wore the same facial bandage. "Cousins who facetite together, stay together," she captioned a snap of the pair wearing sunglasses and nude facial garments. "Shout out @drmichaelkim."

Many have since called out Ireland. "Most 26 yr olds are playing off student loans," one individual argued in the comment section. Another agreed, "Yeah …. I googled. It costs anywhere from $5000 to $14000. Much be nice ….Off to work I go!"
