AceShowbiz - The 2022 CMT Awards has given out the trophies to its winners. Taking place at Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Monday, April 11, the ceremony saw Carrie Underwood winning one of the top awards for a record-extending 10th time.
That night, Carrie and Jason Aldean were named as the winner of Video of the Year for their hit collaboration "If I Didn't Love You". That marked the 10th time for Carrie to have nabbed the big prize.
Later that night, Carrie and Aldean won a second award for collaborative video of the year. This brings the songtress' total of CMT Music Awards to 25, which is more than any other artist.
Also taking home two awards that night was Cody Johnson. The singer snagged both Male Video of the Year for " 'Til You Can't" and the CMT Digital-First Performance of the Year for "Dear Rodeo" from CMT Campfire Sessions.
Miranda Lambert, meanwhile, came out victorious in Female Video of the Year categories. She collected the trophy with "If I Was a Cowboy" after edging out Brandi Carlile's "Right on Time", Gabby Barrett's "Footprints on the Moon", Kacey Musgraves' "justified", Maren Morris' "Circles Around This Town", Mickey Guyton's "Remember Her Name" and Tenille Arts' "Back Then, Right Now".
