When announcing her absence at the award-giving event on her social media platform, the 'God Is a Woman' hitmaker says that she feels like she's 'already won.'

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande has decided not to join her fellow nominees at the 2022 Grammy Awards. Just hours before the ceremony began, the "Positions" hitmaker announced that she wouldn't be attending the star-studded event despite being nominated for three awards.

Making use of her Instagram account on Sunday, April 3, the "God Is a Woman" songstress shared several behind-the-scenes videos during the making of her sixth studio album, "Positions". In the caption, she wished all who'll be at the awards show to "have a beautiful time" in her absence.

"Some positions memories to celebrate grammy day :) reflecting on an incredible process with so many creatives that i love and respect so deeply," Ariana captioned her post. "I love this album so."

Ariana continued, "It's an honor to be recognized today alongside so many brilliant musicians and human beings that i love." The two-time Grammy winner added, "To have each other, to have the gifts that we have, to share and feel heard.. is not something to take for granted, we've already won. [smile emoji]." She then concluded her message as saying, "Have a beautiful time, i am celebrating all of you there today!"

Ariana is nominated for three Grammys this year. Her hit "Positions", is up for Best Pop Solo Performance. Her 2020 album, "Positions", is nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album. The season 21 judge of "The Voice" also is up for a Grammy for her work on Doja Cat's album "Planet Her", which is nominated for Album of the Year.

This wasn't the first time Ariana skipped Grammys. Back in 2019, the "One Last Time" singer didn't come to the award-giving event after a disagreement over her scheduled performance. At the time, she wanted to perform "7 Rings" but show producers reportedly wouldn't let her. They tried to compromise by allowing her to perform the song as part of a bigger medley. However, she decided to drop out entirely.
