The Spanish singer's third studio album 'Motomami' debuted with 14,000 SEA units, which equals 19.37 million on-demand official streams from the album's 16 songs.

AceShowbiz - Rosalia hit the jackpot with her third studio album, "Motomami". Arriving on March 18, the new project was chosen as This Week's Favorite New Music on Billboard upon its release.

Rosalia's first album in four years brought in nearly 28 percent of the vote. Trailing behind were Normani Kordei ("Fair"), Coi Leray and Nicki Minaj ("Blick Blick"), Charli XCX ("Crash") as well as Carrie Underwood ("Ghost Story").

Although "Motomami" only reached the No. 42 spot in the U.K. Official Albums Chart Top 100, it hit the summit of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums on the April 2-dated ranking. It marked the Spanish star's second time to top the list.

"Motomami" debuted with 14,000 SEA units, which equals to 19.37 million on-demand official streams from the album's 16 songs. That makes the second-largest streaming debut by a female act since Karol G's "KG0516" arrived with 19,000 SEA units (equaling 27.4 million on-demand streams of the set's songs).

"Motomami" is a follow-up to her 2018 album "El Mal Querer", which won five Latin Grammys, including Album of the Year and Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album. The new 16-track set features guest appearances from The Weeknd and Tokischa.

Speaking about "Motomami", Rosalia revealed that it "is the name of my company." She further told Billboard, "Back when I was a teenager, I had a friend whose email account was 'Motomami'. I loved the name and it stayed with me. I associate it with my friend and with motorcycles."

"My mom has always had motorcycles, I've ridden since I was eight years old with my dad. And a Motomami, well, my mom is the OG Motomami. There's so many Motomamis in the world who have inspired me," she shared. "My mom, my sister, my friend Hunter Schafer. Motomami is an energy. Anyone can be a Motomami, Motopapi. It's the way you feel. And also, it's doing as much as you can with what you have."
