In the campaign, fans insist that the Astroworld tragedy wasn't the 'SICKO MODE' spitter's fault, demanding the rapper headline the annual music festival or make a guest appearance with Kanye West.

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott (II)'s fans have demanded that the "SICKO MODE" rapper be added to next year's Coachella lineup after his slot was pulled by the promoters. Tens of thousands of his fans have signed a Change.org petition calling for their idol to perform at the annual music festival.

In the three-day-old online appeal, fans also suggested the 30-year-old rapper make a guest appearance with Kanye West at this April's festival. "Book Travis for 2023 or have Ye bring him out!" the petition read. On Wednesday afternoon, January 26, over 70,000 people already signed it.

"After Coachella unfairly removed Travis Scott for Harry Styles, they need to do the right thing and rebook him immediately," the campaign continued to read. "Coachella switched Travis and [Frank Ocean] for Harry Styles and Billie Eilish? What kind of message does that send? Fans are demanding refunds and selling their tickets. Coachella needs to fix this asap. We all know Astroworld tragedy wasn't Travis' fault. Let him get back to performing on the biggest stages!"

Travis was reportedly removed from this year's concert back in December after a Change.org petition, which urged the promoter to remove him from the lineup, gained 64,000 signatures following his deadly Astroworld Festival in Houston. Coachella organizers, Goldenvoice, kept mum on the matter while a spokesperson for Indio community declined to comment. "Any confirmation about the festival lineup would come from Goldenvoice," they said in a statement.

Then earlier this month, news broke that Billie and Kanye are among those who will perform at Coachella. Sources spilled to Variety that the 20-year-old chart-topping artist and the "Donda" artist have filled the remaining headlining slots for the largest music festival. A separate insider confirmed to TMZ that the "Happier Than Ever" hitmaker has "signed on as one of the event's big names for 2022."

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which is already sold out, is scheduled to take place over the weekends of April 15-17 and April 22-24. The festival, as usual, will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, in the Colorado Desert's Coachella Valley.
