The 'Crank That (Soulja Boy)' emcee appreciates it that the 'Hurricane' rapper texted to apologize to him after he called Ye out for removing his verse from the album.

AceShowbiz - Soulja Boy has clarified where he is now in his relationship with Kanye West after the "Donda" drama. Months after calling out the Yeezy designer for removing his verse from "Remote Control", Big Draco said he has "nothing but love" for Ye.

The 31-year-old star discussed the status of his relationship with the Atlanta spitter during an interview with HipHopDX. "Kanye, Kanye, Kanye," he said. "Aw man. Shoutout to Kanye, man. Know what I'm saying? Kanye out there living life. I see he outside now. He moving around, he doing his thing, man. I got nothing but love for Kanye. You know what I'm saying? At least he kept it real. Kanye is the type of artist where he don't give a f**k."

Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, appreciated it that Kanye texted him to apologize following his public rant. "He ain't have to text me and say s**t, you know what I'm saying? So even for the fact to him to hit me up and be like, 'Oh bro, woo, woo, woo.' I'm like, 'Man, that just speaks … that speaks volumes,' " he continued. Stressing that he has brushed off their feud, he added, "Kanye came a long way. I f**k with Kanye. For sure. We good."

During the interview, Soulja also talked about his struggle to adjust to his sudden rise of fame after his song "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" hit No. 1 at the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2007, when he was still 19 years old. "I love it," he said excitedly, explaining that he has gone through that phase. "I love it!I had to learn it. You go through your motions, you know what I'm saying?"

He further explained, "I went through the point of, 'I can't go outside. If I go through the grocery store, they going to be asking for my autograph. If I go shopping, I got to wear ahh…' But I grew out of that. It was a quick little phase. It's way better than staying in the hood, trying to figure it out. It's a blessing to be … fame is a blessing."

The tension between Soulja and Kanye started after the "Gold Digger" rapper removed the former's lyrics on "Remote Control" which was included in Ye's latest album "Donda". Calling Ye "weird af," Soulja tweeted at the time, "Idk how to feel, Kanye sent me that song 'remote control' and I don't hear my verse on it. hmm f**k that n***a."

Kanye later apologized to Soulja, writing in text message to the latter, "Yo It's Ye. Love you bro. I should have told you I wasn't gonna use the verse." Soulja seemingly accepted the apology as he replied, "Love you too bro. That's all I wanted."

However, Big Drago seemingly hinted that Ye's apology was not enough. "I don't really know how to feel," he said when speaking to DJ Akademiks. "All I wanted was an explanation. I feel like I got played... But it's all love, with time passing and s**t like that it ain't like I'm on some 'I hate this n***a Kanye blah blah.' "
