AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom has just been reminded of his old sin after calling out Tristan Thompson for his infidelity. The ex-NBA star criticized the Canadian athlete for cheating on Khloe Kardashian yet again, but it has backfired.
Lamar weighed in on Tristan and Khloe's relationship drama when met on Wednesday, January 12 at the Atlanta Fish Market in Buckhead. Giving his two cents on the relationship drama between his ex-wife and her baby daddy, he told TMZ, "Dude is corny for that, but it's all good."
The former professional basketball player said he hasn't reached out to Khloe since Tristan confirmed he fathers Maralee Nichols' son, but he is fully supportive of the reality TV star. "I haven't been fortunate enough to reach out to her," he admitted. "She's gonna be all right. She's a strong girl."
Asked what he would do if he meets Khloe, he said, "First, I would give her a hug because I haven't seen her in a long time." He added, "What would I say to her? Just to be strong, keep her faith in God and be strong for her daughter, [3-year-old True]."
After hearing Lamar's comments on Tristan's infidelity, many think that he should be the last to criticize the Sacramento Kings star as he himself has done the same thing to Khloe when they were still married. "Pot calling the kettle black," one reminded Lamar.
Another clapped back at the 42-year-old, "He corny too." Someone pointed out, "But the brothels weren't..?" A fourth person similarly argued, "didn't he do the same thing," while others echoed the sentiment as saying, "N***a please…you did the same thing!" and "Let's not act like you were a saint! You just didn't procreate but you definitely came close!"
There were a few who came to Lamar's defense though. "Tbf the Lamar now and the Lamar then are different kinds of people. Plus Lamar was going through it, he had addictions and mental issues," one tried to explain Lamar's issues. "I'm not using that as an excuse cause Lamar was still full of it but deep down Lamar respected Khloe, I don't think for a single second Tristan ever cared about Khloe, like dude is just horny."
Another claimed, "I don't think he has forgot but at least he is genuine and has always been apologetic to her about and openly to social media about but he damn sure ain't done what Tristin has done to her! Y if she can forgive him she can't do the same for Lamar? That's the bigger question. I loved them together and on tv and I think he is genuine about everything. I wish she would give him another chance I think he would damn sure be good to her. Some people have to make most to realize they actually had someone good and he has said this himself. I think he would treat her like a queen now."
Lamar previously said he wanted to "reconnect" with his ex-wife and "talk one day as friends" amid Tristan's paternity drama. "I truly wish nothing but the best for her and I'm hoping we can reconnect and talk one day as friends," he reportedly commented on a Facebook post. "She is a good person and deserves the world."
Tristan admitted earlier this month that paternity test confirmed he is the father of Maralee's son. He also apologized to Khloe for "the heartache and humiliation I have caused you." He and Maralee are currently in a legal dispute over child support for the newborn baby boy.
