After spotted filming romantic scenes with her co-star Ethan Kai, the 'In the Heights' star films her solo scene in a dark alley on set in Glasgow, Scotland.

AceShowbiz - New photos from the set of "Batgirl" have surfaced online, showing another side of Leslie Grace's Barbara Gordon. As production of the next DCEU movie continues in Glasgow, Scotland, the actress was spotted dressing down while filming her solo scene on Thursday night, January 13.

In the images, the 27-year-old wore a checkered jacket on top of a gray hoodie and red sweatpants with white stripes. She also donned a gray beanie and wide-rimmed sunglasses while carrying a large duffle bag.

The actress portraying the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon and her alter ego was walking through a dark alley until a mural on the wall caught her attention. She stopped seemingly to take a closer look at the drawing and was later seen leaning on the wall.

Earlier that day, Grace was seen filming romantic scenes with her co-star Ethan Kai. The two were holding hands as they were strolling the crowded street. At another point, they were seen sharing a kiss before parting ways.

Kai's role in the movie has not been announced, but judging from his character's relationship with Barbara, many have guessed that he is playing Jason Bard a.k.a. Nightwing, who is Barbara's love interest in the comic books.

Meanwhile, previous set photos saw Grace wearing a Gotham City Police Department T-shirt underneath her black jacket. She dyed her hair red to portray the female vigilante.

J.K. Simmons has been confirmed to reprise his role as Commissioner James Gordon, while Brendan Fraser is cast as the villain Firefly. Michael Keaton will additionally return as Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman.

Jacob Scipio, Rebecca Front and Corey Johnson are among other actors tapped to star in the movie, but their roles are yet to be known. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah serve as directors, with the script penned by Christina Hodson. The movie is set to be released on HBO Max.
