'Succession' wins big at the 79th Golden Globe Awards after taking home 3 trophies in total, while 'Hacks' and 'Ted Lasso' follow it up with 2 victories each.

AceShowbiz - The 2022 Golden Globe Awards continues to be a big night for "Succession". Following the victories for stars Jeremy Strong and Sarah Snook, the HBO series took home one of the biggest prizes of the night. It was named as the winner of Best Drama Series.
To win the category, "Succession" edged out pretty strong fellow nominees. They included "Lupin", "The Morning Show", "Pose" and global sensation "Squid Game".
That night also saw "The Underground Railroad" winning one of the top honors at the 79th Golden Globe Awards. The Amazon Prime Video series, which tells a story about a harrowing trip of Cora (Thuso Mbedu) as she seeks true freedom while being hunted by a notorious slave catcher, won Best Limited Series, Anthology Series or Television Motion Picture category.
"Succession" won big at the event, winning 3 trophies in total. "Hacks" and "Ted Lasso" followed it up with 2 victories each. "Hacks" brought home the awards for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy and Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy for Jean Smart. As for "Ted Lasso", the award-winning AppleTV comedy was honored with the Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy title and the award of Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy for its star and creator Jason Sudeikis.
