James Corden Reveals Breakthrough COVID Diagnosis, Cancels Upcoming Episodes of 'Late Late Show'

The 'Late Late Show with James Corden' host comes forward with his diagnosis just a few days after Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon announced that they tested positive for coronavirus.

AceShowbiz - James Corden is the latest celebrity to test positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. When revealing his diagnosis, the TV host announced that he canceled upcoming episodes of "The Late Late Show with James Corden".

The 43-year-old English native broke the news via Instagram on Thursday, January 6. "I just tested positive for COVID 19," he first wrote. "I'm fully vaccinated, boosted, and because of this, am fortunate enough to say I feel completely fine."

"The show will be off the air for the next few days," James went on noting. He then greeted his followers, "Stay safe everyone. All my love, James x."

James' announcement came just two days after fellow TV host Seth Meyers divulged that he "tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!)." The "Late Night with Seth Meyers" host continued, "The good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!). We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!"

Jimmy Fallon, meanwhile, revealed his own breakthrough COVID-19 diagnosis on January 3. Sharing on Instagram a picture of himself wearing a mask in an isolation room, he penned, "Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid."

"I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms," the 47-year-old comedian added. "Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed."

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" host went on to thank "NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job." He concluded his post by writing, "And also thanks for putting me in the 'What 'chu talkin' about Willis?' isolation room when they told me the news."
