The eldest son of Donald Trump implies that the former British socialite will meet a similar fate like her late associate and sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein, who hung himself in his jail cell.

AceShowbiz - Donald Trump Jr. has predicted Ghislaine Maxwell's demise in the wake of her guilty verdict in sex trafficking case. Showing no sympathy to the former British socialite, the eldest son of former President Donald Trump suggested that Maxwell could die "next week or so."

On Thursday, December 30, Trump Jr. posted on his Instagram page a picture of the convicted sex trafficker in the style of an "in memorial" image with the words "Ghislaine Maxwell, 1961 - next week or so" written on it. In the caption, he preemptively defended himself against those who may say that his post was inappropriate, writing, "Too soon? Nah, it's never too soon for a pedos or their enablers."

Trump Jr. seemingly implied that Maxwell will meet a similar fate like her former associate and late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The American financier was found dead after hanging himself in his jail cell in July 2019 while awaiting his trial. However, many conspiracy theorists believe that he was murdered to keep him quiet about powerful friends of his who may have participated in his crimes.

Trump Jr., however, failed to mention that his father was friendly with both Maxwell and Epstein. The former president's name was mentioned several times during her trial as flight logs from Epstein's private plane showed that the elder Trump was on the aircraft at least seven times.

Reacting to his joke, some Instagram users were quick to point out this fact. "He was definitely photographed with her & Epstein lol," one person wrote in the comments section of Trump Jr.'s post.

A second user similarly said, "i believe it just came out he flew 6 times on the plane. No idea from where or to where they flew, aside from the one admitted flight." A third remarked, "Donald Trump was a regular at those parties, and a known friend of Epstein....," while someone else trolled Trump Jr. and his father, "Is your dad still wishing her well? Or is he pretending they've never met?"

On December 29, Maxwell was found guilty of five of the six federal counts related to the abuse and trafficking of underage girls. She faces a maximum sentence of 65 years in prison on the counts that she was convicted of.
