The former One Direction member is said to have taken the 'Booksmart' director to meet his mom Anne Twist just days after he is reportedly 'slowly' getting to know his girlfriend's children.

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles apparently has taken a major step in his relationship with Olivia Wilde. If a new report is to be believed, the "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker has introduced his girlfriend to his mom.

On Tuesday, December 28, a source spilled to The Sun that the former One Direction singer had taken Olivia to meet his mom, Anne Twist. "This looked like quite a showbizzy thing at first, two glamorous people hooking up but now it's obviously a lot more than that," the informant claimed.

"They held back a bit at first but now that things are more settled the time was right to do the next thing," the so-called inside source continued explaining. The insider added, "It's really exciting for them and for Harry it's the most serious he has ever really been about somebody."

Last week, Harry was reportedly "slowly" getting to know the children of his girlfriend. A source revealed to Us Weekly at the time that the pair have "started getting to know each other's families" as the "Booksmart" director introduced the 27-year-old singer to her kids, 7-year-old Otis and 5-year-old Daisy, whom she shares with ex Jason Sudeikis.

The insider further shared that "all the meetings have gone very well." The source also noted that following the successful family moments, they're planning to spend "some of this holiday season together."

Prior to that, Olivia hinted that she is "really happy" with her current romance. "I think what you realize is that when you're really happy, it doesn't matter what strangers think about you," she explained when discussing her relationship in Vogue's January 2022 issue. "All that matters to you is what's real, and what you love, and who you love."

"In the past 10 years, as a society, we have placed so much more value on the opinion of strangers rather than the people closest to us. I'm happier than I've ever been," Olivia stressed. She also pointed out that she's "healthier than I've ever been, and it's just wonderful to feel that."

Back in June, Olivia was asked about the marriage speculation. "There's a massive Internet conspiracy that you and Harry are already married. Not true? True? Maybe?" a paparazzo was heard asking her when she was at LAX airport. She then snarkily responded, "I'm never going to talk to you guys."
