In the said post, Britney shared a sexy video of her showing various outfits. The "Toxic" singer first appeared while sporting a pink-colored leopard suit, striking some poses in front of her Christmas tree. The footage, which was set to Miley Cyrus' take on Hall & Oats' classic "Maneater", later saw the pop star coming back and forth in three different style dresses.
Britney and her sister had a strained relationship amid the former's conservatorship battle that finally ended on Nobember 12. Eaerlier this year, The "Oops!... I Did It Again" hitmaker appeared to shade Jamie Lynn over her forthcoming memoir "Things I Should Have Said". The book was previously titled "I Must Confess", a lyric from Britney's 1998 debut single, "…Baby One More Time".
"I'm thinking of releasing a book next year," Britney joked in October, adding, "But I'm having issues coming up with a title so maybe my fans could help !!!!" She continued, "Option #1 … 'S**t, I really don't know' Option #2 … 'I really care what people think' !!!! What do you guys think ????"
Of the situation, a source said at the time, "It's sad to say, but Britney isn't all that surprised that Jamie Lynn is using this opportunity with the media spotlight on their family to promote her own book." The informant continued, "Britney is continuously let down by her own family. It's sad because Britney has a heart of gold. All she ever wanted was to support her family before [the conservatorship] began."
The insider went on to say, "What saddens Britney the most is that Jamie Lynn isn't even using this opportunity to speak out in support of her. At this point, Britney is not interested in pursuing a relationship with her sister. And who could blame her?"
Jamie Lynn only broke her silence about her sister's conservatorship in June after Britney's first court testimony. "I think it's extremely clear that since the day I was born, I have only loved, adored, and supported my sister. I mean, this is my freakin' big sister, before any of this bulls**t," she wrote on Instagram Stories. "This situation does not affect me either way because I am only her sister, who is only concerned about her happiness."
