Cycad Management accuses the Cash Money Records co-founder of owing the company $141,000 in unpaid rent through December 31 this year and another $6,000 in cleaning bills.

AceShowbiz - Birdman has found himself being entangled in legal trouble. It was reported that the "Stuntin' Like My Daddy" rapper is being sued by his landlord for failing to pay his rent for five months.

Filing the lawsuit was Cycad Management, a company that works with the owner of a Los Angeles mansion to manage the property. In the lawsuit obtained by Radar Online, Cycad accused the 52-year-old hip-hop star of breach of contract.

According to the court papers, Birdman initially agreed to pay $33,000 on a month-to-month basis. However, he allegedly stopped paying his rent five months ago. "At present, Defendants are very delinquent - nearly 5 months delinquent in rent - and also owe Plaintiff other monies for cleaning services rendered at the Rental Property at Defendant's request." so read the lawsuit.

Cycad claimed that it had demanded full payment, but the "Still Fly" spitter ignored their letters. It was unveiled that the Cash Money Records co-founder owes $141,000 in unpaid rent through December 31 this year and another $6,000 in cleaning bills. Now, the company is seeking $147,624.

The company now wants Birdman to get out of the mansion as soon as possible before December 31. "Beginning January 1, 2022, Plaintiff will continue to suffer daily damages each day that Defendant remains in possession of the Rental Property," the docs read.

As for the property, it's reportedly a 7,509 square foot mansion with 7 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms that is located on Bel Air Road. "Floor to ceiling windows allow plenty of light into a very spacious living area. This home has hosted many A-listers and celebrities who have all had raving reviews," so read the property listing.

It's such an irony for Birdman if the allegations are true considering that he once offered to pay rent for residents in his old New Orleans neighborhood. "I would like 2 offer to pay everybody rent for month of May (for those who in need) in residents area of UPTOWN New Orleans where I was born and raised at from mac melph calio and ST Thomas housing also from 3rd ward to 17th ward," he declared on Instagram back in April 2020.
