The 34-year-old real estate agent elaborates in a TikTok video that she hopes to 'help some of you ladies' by being open and honest about her fertility experience.

AceShowbiz - Heather Rae Young is embarking a fertility journey. Following her marriage to Tarek El Moussa in October, the "Selling Sunset" star opened up in a new TikTok video about her decision to freeze her eggs.
In the Tuesday, December 28 post, Heather shared with her followers, "If we decide to move forward, we will start the process next week to get me ready for the egg-freezing in January. Last time I did this, I got six healthy eggs." She went on to say that she'll first need to get blood work done.
She explained that that it was done to check "where my egg count is and progesterone to see where my levels are at." Progesterone is a hormone "released by the ovaries and is necessary for the implantation of the fertilized egg in the uterus and for maintaining pregnancy," according to WebMD.
Heather went on to elaborate, "Once we get that information, we'll find out how many eggs I have since in the past, I had low fertility and low egg count." In the clip, the 34-year-old real estate agent revealed that she hopes to "help some of you ladies" by being open and honest about her fertility experience.
Heather has always been wanting to have a baby together with her husband, Tarek. The "Flip or Flop" star shared on E! News' Daily Pop back in November that they were not only "having talks about having babies," but they were "practicing having babies."
"I'm more open to it because our life is already crazy. We're raising two kids. I'm already a mommy. So I'm like, 'Well, why not have just one more?' " Heather shared, referring to Tarek's kids Taylor (11) and Brayden (6) whom he shares with ex-wife Christina Haack (Christina El Moussa). "We're going to freeze embryos first, go from there and then see what happens."
That aside, Tarek and Heather recently celebrated their first Christmas as husband and wife with the kids. The couple, who tied the knot in a stunning seaside wedding in Montecito, California, enjoyed the holiday at their home in Newport Beach, California. The "Flipping 101" star and his realtor wife also brought the kids to their cabin in the San Bernardino mountains.
Sharing pictures of how he spent the holiday, Tarek posted a picture of the foursome donning matching pajamas. "Gifts are great but what I love about Christmas is the family aspect," the HGTV star wrote. "Most of the stores in town are shut down, the city slows down for a second, and we get to spend the day with our loved ones."
