AceShowbiz - Meagan Good still holds a special place in Devon Franklin's heart though they are no longer together. The Hollywood producer declared that the actress is still the love of his life after he filed for divorce.

Devon was recently met by paparazzi after the couple announced their breakup. When asked if he and his estranged wife are still friends, he said, "She is still the love of my life," before entering his car.

Devon and Meagan announced their split after nine years of marriage on Tuesday, December 21. They said in a joint statement, "After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected." Assuring that it's amicable, they stated, "We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There's no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love."

"We are incredibly grateful for the life-changing years we've spent together as husband and wife," the soon-to-be-exes added. "We are also extremely thankful to God for the testimony being created inside us both and for blessing our lives with each other."

According to PEOPLE, Devin and Meagan's breakup was "a long time coming." A source told the site of what led to their separation, "Their work schedules often kept them apart, and they just haven't been spending a lot of time together this past year. When they did have time in their schedules, it'd often just be hours that they would be able to spend quality time together."

A separate insider similarly told the news outlet, "Due to their busy work schedules and filming in different states, they didn't see each other that much even before COVID. Then they spent a massive amount of time together, but after that, they barely saw each other."

Devin and Meagan tied the knot in 2012 after only two months of engagement. They don't have any children together.
