AceShowbiz - Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade are apparently exploring a new relationship with one another. After the rumored couple was seen enjoying their weekend together, it's reported that they are "casually dating."
"Olivia and Jacob are casually dating," a source spilled to PEOPLE on Monday, December 21. However, while their new romance continues to blossom, the source claimed that the "Dancing with the Stars" alum is still in contact with her ex Jackson Guthy. "Olivia is happy, but she and Jackson still talk often," added the informant. "It wouldn't be a surprise for anyone to see them get back together."
Jacob and Olivia were caught grabbing coffee together during an afternoon stroll in the Los Angeles' Silver Lake neighborhood on Sunday, December 19. One eyewitness claimed that the two looked "coupled up" during their outing. The source added, "I just stared at him from like 6 ft away for the whole time he was there." The informant went on to add that the "Euphoria" star and Olivia were seen "having lunch together" at a cafe.
Olivia, for her part, split from Jackson in 2019 in the wake of the college admissions scandal. However, Olivia and Jackson rekindled their romance that August, with Jackson sharing a photo on his Instagram page featuring the pair kissing in front of a mirror. "Lil monkey I love you," the singer captioned his post at the time.
Then in August this year, Olivia confirmed that she's dating nobody when responding to a follower who asked if she was single during an Instagram Story Q&A. "I am indeed," she said of her relationship status while also sharing a selfie.
Prior to hanging out with Olivia, Jacob dated model Kaia Gerber. Before Jacob and Kaia's separation was announced, an article about Jacob gushing over Kaia was released. In it, "The Kissing Booth" actor said, "She handles herself wonderfully publicly. And I've learned so much from her about how to handle it, how to deal with it and just kind of be whatever about it, you know?"
In the meantime, Jacob's ex Kaia herself was spotted taking a yoga class with Austin Butler on the same day Jacob stepped out with Olivia. The catwalk beauty and "The Carrie Diaries" actor were seen attending a yoga class together before they left with the 20-year-old model's car.
Though their faces were covered by masks as they strolled down the sidewalk post-workout, it could be seen that the 30-year-old actor, who previously dated Vanessa Hudgens for nine years, was smiling from ear to ear as he sat in the driver's seat and drove them off.
