The 'Trap Queen' rapper is back in police custody after getting handcuffed by authorities at Newark Liberty airport, New Jersey as his ankle monitor went off.

AceShowbiz - Fetty Wap landed in jail again after he was taken into police custody in New Jersey. The rapper was handcuffed by law enforcement officials at Newark Liberty airport. The cops received an alert after his ankle monitor went off.

The "Trap Queen" hitmaker allegedly had a warrant out for his arrest. Details of the warrant are unclear, but he is expected to get released on a bail.

Fetty Wap's movement was restricted by authorities amid his felony drug cases. While waiting for his court hearing, he had to wear a GPS monitoring device, submit drug testing results, surrender his passport, and ask for approval from officials before traveling.

The hip-hop artist was arrested by FBI agents at New York's Citi Field ahead of his scheduled performance at the Rolling Loud festival on 28 October (21). He spent nine days in custody before being released on a $500,000 bond in early November.

Along with five others, he reportedly trafficked more than 100 kilograms of opioids. Federal prosecutors claimed the men transported and distributed cocaine, fentanyl, heroin and crack cocaine from the West Coast and sold the deadly drugs in New Jersey and Long Island.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges. He was given a two-month delay so he could negotiate a plea deal. He is due back in court in February 2022. If convicted, he will be facing life in prison.

"Loyalty can be both a great trait and a deadly one," he posted cryptic messages following his arrest. "Choose wisely with who you stand with but never change what you stand for Never bend Never Fold."

He was determined to keep positive outlook amid his legal woes, "Head up like a nose bleed #ImOnBorrowedTime if it ain't life it ain't forever I'll be back better wiser and smarter."
