Maralee Nichols slams baby daddy as she gives her side of the story and offers the first look at baby son at the center of her paternity lawsuit with the NBA hooper.

AceShowbiz - Maralee Nichols broke her silence amid her legal war with Tristan Thompson. The brunette model also released a picture that offered the first glimpse of the newborn at the center of her paternity suit with the Sacramento Kings player.

Maralee confirmed she gave birth to a baby boy but gave no mention of the infant's name. In the first official photo released for public, the mom-and-son duo twinned in festive pajamas as she held him in her arms in front of a Christmas tree.

In a statement to E! News, she put baby daddy on blast as she set the record straight on the rumors and allegations he made against her.

Maralee disputed Tristan's claim that herpes was the reason why she had a designated delivery date. "I was induced on November 29, 2021 because I had a placenta abnormality," she explained. "There is no other medical reason why I needed to be induced. I gave birth on December 1, 2021."

While the NBA star accused her of moving from Texas to California following her pregnancy in a scheme to get more money from him, she insisted that's not the case.

"I have lived in California since 2019," she claimed. "Tristan filed a paternity action in Texas after I filed my paternity action in Los Angeles. I did not file any request for child support before our child was born. The case that Tristan brought against me was dismissed on December 15, 2021."

She stood by her story that it was he who initiated the birthday sex and they continued to see each other before eventually calling it quits.

"I saw Tristan in March 2021 around his birthday. He told me he had wanted to see me. I agreed to meet him in Houston at a private party on March 12," so she claimed. "Houston was one of many nights we spent together. Soon after his birthday weekend in Houston, Tristan invited me to visit him in Boston."

He allegedly invited her to see him in North Carolina at the end of April as well. That's where she told him about her pregnancy.

Furthermore, Maralee dismissed suggestions that she leaked any information about the paternity suit, "I have not at any point released - nor have I directed anyone else to release - any information regarding Tristan Thompson or any litigation involving him. I have never spoken to any media outlet, nor have I leaked any information to anyone at any time."

"I am providing this statement because I feel I must defend my character," she explained. "I have seen fake stories, unflattering photos of me, people using photos that are not even me, stating an incorrect occupation and age."

Finally she concluded her lengthy statement by making it clear that she didn't want to pursue any romantic relationship with Tristan. She only wanted him to recognize his child so that they could co-parent the baby together.

"Instead of focusing on any negativity, I am choosing to embrace being a mother and doing the best I can for my son. I do not want any further media attention, nor do I want a romantic relationship with Tristan. My goal is to raise our son in a safe, healthy, loving and private environment."

The only reason she released a picture of her and baby son was because "there have been multiple fake Instagram posts claiming to be me, making false statements and attaching stock photos of a sonogram and a child (neither mine)."
