Although she has yet to share her first post on the video-sharing platform, the 'Crazy in Love' songstress amasses more than 50,000 followers on her first day.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles is officially on TikTok. The 40-year-old R&B singer created her account on the video-sharing platform on Thursday, December 16. Although the wife of Jay-Z has yet to share her first post, the account has amassed more than 50,000 followers so far.

Fans of the "Crazy in Love" songstress have since expressed their excitement on social media. One person in particular gushed on Twitter, "TikTok was actually created for really talented people like Beyonce to rule it!!!!! I'm so happy she is now taking the crown as she should." Another added, "Beyonce joining TikTok really shocked me, I IMMEDIATELY followed."

A third raved, "Not me running over to TikTok just to follow Beyonce." Someone else echoed the sentiment, "beyonce making a tiktok was all i needed to download the app and make an account." A different individual then chimed in, "I quit tiktok and Beyonce joins. Ugh. Lemme go ahead and log back in, Chile."

Beyonce was the latest celebrity to join TikTok. Less than a month earlier, Kim Kardashian and her eldest child North West launched their page. The joint page, which was created in late November, has been followed by 3.5 million people.

While Beyonce has several social media accounts, her hip-hop mogul husband Jay-Z only uses Twitter. Despite creating his account in 2008, the "Empire State of Mind" hitmaker has only posted 269 tweets in the last 13 years.

In early November, the "Holy Grail" spitter launched his Instagram account to promote "The Harder They Fall" film, which he co-produced alongside The Bullitts a.k.a. Jeymes Samuel, James Lassiter as well as Lawrence Bender. Unfortunately, the emcee decided to delete his page less than 24 hours later.

This marked Jay-Z's second time to quickly deactivate his Instagram page. Back in 2015, the Roc-A-Fella co-founder made an account under the name @hovsince96 by posting a photo of himself with Michael Jackson. However, he reportedly deleted the page just 14 hours later.
