AceShowbiz - Jesy Nelson has once again become a target of online trolls. The former Little Mix member was criticized online after she showed too much tongue-out action during her performance at the 2021 Jingle Bell Ball.

On Saturday, December 11, the 30-year-old singer was given the opportunity to perform her new single "Boyz". When hitting the stage, she rocked a bright red corset under a matching leather coat. To complete her look, she added a black fishnet shirt and black boots.

Many viewers took to Twitter to pour their thoughts on Jesy's stage act. "Me when Jesy Nelson sticks her cone head lookin penis tongue out her mouth during her Jingle Ball performance," one person tweeted, before accusing Jesy of blackfishing as saying, "Also, is she black? Cuz she sure is trying hard to be somethin she ain't."

"Why does she keep making that face though [rolling on the floor laughing emoji]," another person chimed in, while another added, "The weird tongue was down right unnecessary." A disgusted social media user went on saying, "Why is Jesy Nelson doing that thing with her tongue [nauseated emojis]???"

A separate Twitter user penned, "The way I've seen Jesy Nelson's tongue so many times on my tl yeah?? I am UNCOMFORTABLE." Another person criticized, "If you needed anymore proof that she was supposed to be in a group and not a solo artist, here's jesy nelson spasming on stage and sticking her tongue out every 0.5 seconds as a track plays over her off microphone."

"1. Tht lipsyncing is SO obv, can't even make it seem convincing [woman facepalming emoji] 2. She complained tht she had to keep wearing corsets, bikinis etc yet tht's all she's worn since going solo," one social media user added. The said person concluded his tweet, "3. Blackfishing. She's just doing this on purpose now isn't she?"

Following her performance at the event, Jesy took to her Instagram account to share a photo of her on the stage. In the comment section, she received more positive feedback. "You smashed it up there Jesy I'm so so proud of you!! I'll never forget this performance!" one wrote.
