The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' actor and his author wife are having a new addition to their growing family, only a year after welcoming their first child together.

AceShowbiz - Another baby is on the way for Chris Pratt and his author wife Katherine Schwarzenegger. She showed off a growing baby bump as she dressed in dungarees during a family outing with husband, their daughter Lyla, and her stepson Jack.

Katherine held little Lyla in her arms while "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor Chris held his son's hand. They didn't wear face masks, except for Jack who had health issues due to his premature birth.

Chris Pratt shares son Jack with ex-wife Anna Faris. They split in 2017 after eight years of marriage.

The actor tied the knot with Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019. They welcomed baby Lyla in 2020.

Earlier this year, he said he was keen to add more children to his brood, "I would love to have more, as many as the man upstairs will provide. We'll do it. I'll probably have to talk to Katherine about that but my plan is, let's go."

He explained the difference between fathering a son and daughter, "I don't roughhouse quite as much as I did. I kind of just want to cuddle both of them."

He also claimed having a second child gave him more of an appreciation of all the stages of "growth and development."

"It's really beautiful," he said. "I think having a second child really emphasises what was unique about your first child because when you have one kid, you just take for granted all their growth and development. You just assume all children are that way."

Unfortunately the baby bliss was marred by criticisms after he called his daughter "healthy" while his son Jack had disabilities. "I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed and I woke up feeling crappy and I didn't want to work out," he responded to the backlash, adding that he turned to God to deal with the issue.
